The date is displayed according to the format specified in your Windows Control Panel. To check your setting:
| 1 | Click the Start button and choose Settings > Control Panel. |
| 2 | When the Control Panel opens, double-click the icon for Regional Settings. |
| 4 | The format displayed for Short Date Style is used for date display. To display a four-digit year, select a style that includes "yyyy" or "YYYY," indicating a four-digit year. |
If the above settings appear to be correct, it could be that Windows has not entered the correct settings in a place where MemberTies can find them. Follow these steps to force Windows to update the appropriate settings in the Registry:
| 1 | Click the Start button and choose Settings > Control Panel. |
| 2 | When the Control Panel opens, double-click the icon for Regional Settings. |
| 4 | Change the date format to something you do not want. |
| 6 | Return to the Control Panel, Regional Settings, Date tab, and change the date format to the setting you want to use. |
Note: This setting only affects the way dates are displayed in MemberTies. Dates have always been, and continue to be, stored in the database using a four digit year. The database is fully Y2K compliant.
